Turkey's exhibition calendar for next year has been announced, with 46 of the 387 fairs to be organized in the field of agriculture and livestock.

According to the information compiled by the AA correspondent from the 2021 Fair Calendar prepared by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, 143 of the fairs to be organized next year will be at the international level. The agriculture and animal husbandry and food sectors, whose importance increased during the coronavirus pandemic and continued to grow continuously, will be the areas where the most fairs will be organized. In this context, 46 fairs will be organized in the agriculture and livestock sector and 32 in the food sector.



ISTANBUL WILL STAND OUT

Istanbul will host the most events in the field of agriculture and animal husbandry with 5 fairs. Istanbul will be followed by Tekirdağ with 4 fairs, Balıkesir and Bursa with 3 fairs each. According to the fair calendar, Adana, Antalya, Kayseri, Kırklareli, Konya, Mersin and Muğla will host two agriculture and livestock fairs each, while Aydın, Batman, Burdur, Çorum, Denizli, Edirne, Eskişehir, Isparta, İzmir, Manisa, Mardin, Sakarya, Samsun, Şanlıurfa, Uşak, Ordu and Yozgat will host one agriculture and livestock fair each. Of the 46 agriculture and livestock fairs, 36 will be specialized and 10 will be international specialized fairs. These fairs will be held especially in September and November. In the food sector, Istanbul stands out with 11 fairs. This is followed by Antalya, Izmir and Mersin with three fairs each, while Eskişehir will host two fairs. Aydın, Batman, Bursa, Kayseri, Kayseri, Mardin, Manisa, Ordu, Samsun, Şanlıurfa and Yozgat will be the other provinces where fairs will be organized.
