FİSKOBİRLİK AIMS TO INCREASE ITS PRODUCTION CAPACITY

In a written statement, Lütfi Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hazelnut Agricultural Sales Cooperatives Union (FİSKOBİRLİK), made an assessment on the ongoing production and new investments in the Integrated Hazelnut Processing Facility (EFİT) affiliated to the organization.

Pointing out that consumers show intense demand for FİSKOBİRLİK branded products, Bayraktar stated that they increased their daily production capacity to 50 tons with new investments.

Bayraktar stated that their goal is to increase the variety of products and that production activities continue without compromising consumer-oriented and quality.

Noting that hazelnut paste without added sugar has taken its place on the shelves and that they aim to increase the amount of production with new investments next year, Bayraktar said, "Our goal is to revise our capacity to 60 tons of daily production in 2021. In this direction, we are making another investment of approximately 10 million liras. All infrastructure work and agreements have been completed." Bayraktar used his expressions.

Emphasizing that they will continue to add value to Turkish hazelnut, Bayraktar continued as follows:

"FİSKOBİRLİK has been one of the biggest brands in the hazelnut sector for years. It is not correct to see the Union as a brand that only produces packaged hazelnuts. It is very assertive in the field of packaged hazelnuts as well as hazelnut products and continues to be the pioneer of innovations in this field. As FİSKOBİRLİK, our work will continue uninterruptedly in order to add value to Turkish hazelnuts and provide new areas of employment."

Bayraktar stated that they aim to increase the number of products from 20 to 25 in 2021.
